Re: Temp/humidity sensor 4 core/6 core cable

Morning Mark,

Sorry to be a pain but please correct me if I’m wrong. You have been relating to pins on ISS socket (123&6) and I have been referring to pins on plug. Think that’s why I’m slightly confused.
Four core cable but connected to pins you suggest.
Cheers

Re: Temp/humidity sensor 4 core/6 core cable

Hi Mark,

Thanks, I note red and black are both ground. PIN numbers I guess looking on the internet are standard RJ12 pins.

Cheers

Hi Mark, you mean use the four central connectors. This I have done so implies I have been unfortunate and the sensor has packed up!

Hi Mark,

This implies that the wiring is correct? Correct?

Re: Temp/humidity sensor 4 core/6 core cable

Hi Mark, Thank you. I have this data at hand, bear in mind I have Vantage Pro console. Are you able to confirm pinouts? I'm hoping this is the problem and I have couple of wires wrong! Your post appears to confirm this. I have not connected blue & white (outside conductors) IMG_1783.jpg IMG_1782...

Temp/humidity sensor 4 core/6 core cable

Hi All, I have recently upgraded from a Wizard 3 to a Vanatge Pro and tried to use existing sensors where possible. Due to sensor locations and location of ISS (indoors) I was informed that I could use the exsiting 4 core weather wizard 3 cable to connect the temp/humidity sensor of the "new&qu...

Re: Cumulus, No data on Cumulus homepage

Hi Mark,

Update. I have plugged Data logger directly into console and changed Cumulus logger interval to 1 min. I now have data displayed in Cumulus!

Still confused to why as Envoy doesn't work. Anything else I can try?

Cheers

Re: Cumulus, No data on Cumulus homepage

Forgot to add, I am using a serial to USB adaptor, I note that weatherlink is seeing the station so I guess this is communicating and working OK,

Any pointers appreciated

Re: Cumulus, No data on Cumulus homepage

Hi Paul, I can confirm that the station is a Vantage Pro, this is selected in station setup on the station setup page not a VP2. The Envoy is not the Envoy8x. On the Envoy settings accessed through (Transceiver) Weatherlink I have simply set station one to ISS, everything else is set to off. I'm at ...

Cumulus, No data on Cumulus homepage

Hi All, My first post and new to Cumulus. Have been using WD with a Davis weather Wizard 3 for many years running a website, but now switched to Cumulus. I have purchased a secondhand Vantage Pro and want to use Cumulus as the software. I have the main console located upstairs (wireless) and a Davis...
