Re: Met office WOW

Yes that is my site site. I have checked MXDiags and am getting "WOW Response: ERROR - Response code= Forbidden" so it looks like an issue with my PIN.

I can't find a way to change that on my Site Page.

Met office WOW

My Met Office link stopped working at 15:55 on the 04 Jan 2021. Sadly I hadn't notices and now cannot get it to restart receiving data from my station. I can find my station number from my settings page on the Met Office site but cannot confirm my "pin" as asked for in my Cumulus settings....

Re: New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

PMFJI Geoff. Looking at your website there are many Monthly records which cannot possibly be correct. High Wind Gust of 410 m/s is beyond hurricane level. And monthly rainfall of 11389 mm which equates to 113 metres. You’d be under water. https://winterman.org.uk/Weather/monthlyrecord.htm Yup! a bi...

Re: New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

WELL THANK YOU PAUL, DAVID FREDDIE AND ALL. You got me there in the end – the Weatherlink Live was still using the BT router. I never usually touch it and it sits on its own just doing its job in another room. Once I you pointed towards it I realised..... I hadn’t connected it to the Nokia router. D...

Thanks! Not sure how to proceed however. How do I detect which item in the list of unconnected devices is the Davis Weatherlink.

Re: New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

My Apologues, I'm not being helpful and it is is kind of you all to chip in with advice. This installation came a lot earlier than anticipated at a time when we have a lot of distractions. Once the VOIP phone is up and running on Monday (we hope) I can turn off the BT router and that should simplify...

Re: New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

Sorry I wasn't clear in my reply. On the BT Modem all is fine, but when I switch to the router attached to the fibre ONT (Optical Network Terminal unit) Cumulus acts up. the Dashboard goes to zero and the "data stopped" warning light at the bottom comes on. I have just checked - FileZilla ...

Re: New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

Bit more info that directs the issue away from Cumulus. I have just noticed my two webcams also stopped uploading.

Bit busy today but might have time this evening to update Cumulus to start with.

New Fibre Broadband Issue: Cannot upload to website!

We have just had installed fibre into house with a new moden/ router and 10 times faster broadband. The down-side is, whenever I switch my laptop monitoring my weather station Cumulus will not upload data to my website. If I switch back to my BT router all is well. I have till Monday next to find th...

Re: Sending data to Met Office's WOW

PaulMy wrote: Fri 19 Aug 2022 1:53 pm Hi,
If you still have your old Cumulus cumulus.ini file (from backup) from when you uploaded to WOW, it will have the info:

Code: Select all

[WOW]
ID=xxxxxxxxx
Password=xxxxxx
Enabled=1
Interval=5
SendUV=1
SendSR=1
CatchUp=1
Enjoy,
Paul
Now that is worth knowing, have to investigate my backups.

Re: Sending data to Met Office's WOW

MX setup is asking for the ID and the Pin. It is so long ago I don't think I will find the emails retaliated to it.

Loks like i'll have to contact them.
