Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

The first error (the one about parameter 51) I don't know about. It may have something to do with some of the earlier entries in your dayfile (the ones from 2009) having less data per line than more recent ones - but you will have to wait for @mcrossley to return for confirmation of that. The lines...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

Hi Freddie, I have done what you suggest, but I am left with a few issues. 1: When examining Dayfile.txt though the Dashboard I am still getting an error message Capture.JPG 2: There are four other rogue entries and I have no data for the period 10th to the 14th - should I remove the rogue entries? ...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

Yes they appear twice when you view Dayfile.txt in Notepad, but the dates 2-14th September do not feature at all if you look in Dashboard.

I'll await further advice before interfering with them.

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

Could the reason MX dashboard was not showing data relate to the dayfil.txt issue? And I still cannot work out why it suddenly came to life yesterday evening. I would be grateful if you would look at the file, especially as I'm now getting the error message when I try to examine the file within Dash...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

just curious, do you use a mysql database? when you updated to the latest MX version did you update the sql data tables too with the supplied sql file? not sure what version you were running from to start with however. I maybe wrong but it might be something to do with that, unless the dayfile is c...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

Just to let you you know that CumulusMX came back to life just before 7.00pm this evening. I did nothing except an hour or so earlier I turned off Cumulus (Ctrl+C) while I copied the MXDiag folder ready to upload a copy here, and then turned it back on again by re-starting it. I still have to tidy u...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

I have two MXDiags folders. MXDiagsOLD being the version I have been using since I upgraded from Cumulus 1, and MXDigsNEW they upgrade I made recently earlier this week in the hope that upgrading might solve my problem. Unfortunately the Forum software is rejecting MXDiadsOLD a being too big to uplo...

Re: CumuulusMX dashboard empty

You look like you're on the same computer that MX is running on. So why don't you try accessing the interface on http://localhost:8998/ Also, are you sure that your IP address is still 192.168.1.21? Hi Freddie, first of all the IP address is accurate, I am able to access control panel and even revi...

CumuulusMX dashboard empty

My Oregon WMR200 has stopped sending data to my PC for some reason, yet it appears to be receiving it from the weather station. I was using an earlier version of MX but have now updated to the latest, but I still have the problem. http://winterman.org.uk/weather/Capture.PNG You can see on the date o...

Re: SUN: Siting a Webcam

Cheers Phil and all,

This has been really interesting. With my original camera (internal USB pointed out of a window) I used Yawcam to run it. I think it is time I updated my kit.

Re: SUN: Siting a Webcam

North is no problem but the most interesting weather here usually comes from the south or south west! Never mind I think I win invest (not really the best word!) spend some cash on a wireless camera, and give up poking my little USB camera at the window!
