Re: Hey
I don't know the least about Raspberry Pi systems but I have bought a number of refurbished Dell computers from Staples. Everything included but the monitor including Windows 10. $100 to $130. I have one running in my finished basement for Cumulus and my cameras. I access it via Teamviewer 13 (Free)...

Done. Thanksmcrossley wrote:I have raised an issue on the Chromium issues list: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is ... ?id=839848
It would be good if you could look at that, "star" it, and add a "me too" comment with a link to your page.
Thanks, Mark.

Re: Steel Series Gauges results in Aw Snap Error using Chrome
Well, like a fool I upgraded Chrome. I also can't run for more than a minute. Dumb Me.
I'll report it as suggested. All was good before the upgrade.

Re: Steel Series Gauges results in Aw Snap Error using Chrome
Ah, so it's not just me! I've spent a while looking at my browser installation. Sounds like it is a general issue with Chrome 66 :( Unfortunately it is proving very difficult to get any debug information out of Chrome when an "Aw, snap!" error occurs. I've tried debug logging with --enabl...

Re: Steel Series Gauges results in Aw Snap Error using Chrome

Re: Davis Envoy Barometer
I know of a Davis user where a new VP2 console had a similar issue. He got a replacement from Davis and that was also the same. He is a HAM operator and had a lot of equipment in the vicinity. Here is some discussion http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=17368 and I belie...

Davis Envoy Barometer
Hello all: I've searched the forum and cannot find an answer. I installed a station for the Township. Vantage Pro2 Plus. Wireless anemometer. Envoy with USB data logger. Everything is working great EXCEPT .... the barometer. The pressure reading will be fine for one or two days and then Bam, jumps u...

Re: ftp error
OK, so here is an even more confusing question. I am setting up a station for the township. I have been running a station at home for years (Davis) with cumulus. I have a pretty good grasp on how things operate and have no issues. Here's my question. I Can't FTP out at the township building right no...

Re: Wind Direction
I think most still use a "from" indicator - any examples using a "to" indicator? I notice the VP2 console code manages to use both! A triangular indicator in the correct "from" position on the compass but pointing in the "to" direction! I agree here and think...

Re: Netatmo weather station
I've recently installed and aligned a brand new anemometer with a wireless transmitter at 45 feet AGL to clear all surrounding trees and structures. I get really consistent wind speed and direction readings. There's a guy about 1.5 miles with a Netatmo station and his reading are all over the board....

Wind Direction
Dumb question here but I swear that years past the wind indicator at most if not all weather sites pointed INTO the wind so one could tell which direction the wind was coming from. Now I've noticed for quite a few years that the pointer is in the direction OF the wind. To me, this just seems counter...
