Yeah, my site is WU free. But I've been sending data to WU since 2004. I'm a bit OCD and just can't give it up.
Plus, I have 2 neighbors on WU. I have to compete!

Re: b4017 Update and WU
Seems rapid fire was the cause. I turned that off. Changed interval to 5 minutes. Good enough for WU.

b4017 Update and WU
Just upgraded to b4017. Was pretty straight forward. All of my third party uploads are working except Weather Underground. I've re-entered my Device ID and Station key. But still not updating. I have Rapid Fire also checked.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Is the dayfile reader compatible with the new V4?

IPTimelapse Template file
I've been using IPTL since the end of May. I have it setup to get my weather info from WD. But I don't like how it shows wind with decimal places. And pressure shows only with 1 decimal place. I had an HTX file from a long time ago that I tried switching to yesterday. But the issue is the text spaci...

Re: Sky Conditions
What I like about WD is it not only gives sky conditions, but it'll say "cloudy, raning" "partly sunny, stopped raining" or "night time, dry". So its both sky conditions and rain/no rain. So it's a little more verbose than the local METARS. That and my local METAR condi...

Sky Conditions
It would be nice if Cumulus could create it's own sky conditions if you have solar/UV sensors. Similar to what WeatherDisplay does. Makes loading of my webpage faster with Saratoga scripts when that is included in the live conditions file.

Re: WDConverter
I was able to get all of my data converted into the dayfile. The one thing I did notice is the windrun value is off. Just guessing, but it's almost a factor of 2 or more. But the rest of the data looks good. I'm satisfied. I got most of what I was looking to do. There are a few days in there where W...

Re: WDConverter
HA HA! Freakin' A! Thanks Paul. I did it. https://www.bismarckweather.net/dayfile2.php For anyone else, I threw a copy of 1.9.4 on my PC. Copied the data folder over. Plopped a couple of new log files I had converted. In Cumulus 1.94., Edit, Dayfile.Txt. Had it "Create Missing". I then too...

Re: WDConverter
Just as an FYI, I got the REGEX figured out with some assistance. I used ^.{17}\-{0,1}\d+\.\d+\h-{0,1}\K(\d+)\.0 with a replace with /1. So I converted the missing parts of Feb2017, and added Jan2017 files to my data folder. I shutdown Cumulus while posting those files. Is there anything I have to d...

Re: WDConverter
Actually, I think I figured out a workable solution. I did a Macro in NP++. It smoked that extra .0 out, then went to the next line. It actually converted most the data. I didn't notice that down around lines 11979, that number mysteriously changed to not having the .0. So I'll have to visually scan...

Re: WDConverter
Problem with that is there is almost 20k lines for each log file. Editing all those lines will be time killing.
I did open them up in Excel. What's weird is the 79.0 opens as 79. It dropped the decimal. I'll have to play around with it to see if Excel can export it back out like that.

Re: WDConverter
I'll see if I can take that one log file and open it up in Excel to change that column to a non-decimal number. If that works, I can live with that.

WDConverter
When's the last time any one has used the WDConverter? I am running both WD and Cumulus. But I have the daytime file PHP file on my site to read that end of day file. I really like that. What I was able to do is take my old data from the VWS days and import it into WD. My goal is to get all of my da...
