Extra Sensors no longer "enabled"
Hi, I just upgraded Mono to v6.12 before upgrading CMX from 3.2.41 to 3.25.0 and it is all working well except I noticed my extra sensors are no longer being detected. According to CMX, "No sensors enabled"; however, I have not changed the Settings > Station Settings > Common Options > Log...

WMR928N Repairs
Hi, As most WMR928[N,X] weather stations are somewhere in the region of 20+years-old now I thought I would start a thread that suggests ways to repair failed or failing parts of this weather station. If you would like to comment or have suggestions of your own please feel free to reply to this threa...

Re: Pressure Multiplier and Offset
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your reply and advice.
I will check my Cumulus.ini to see what is saved in it after trying more decimal places and edit it manually should it not be saving what I enter via the GUI calibration settings.
I will let you know what I find.
Thanks again,
Adam

Pressure Multiplier and Offset
Hi, I believe the pressure multiplier goes to a maximum four decimal places, at least I think so when I checked last. To be able to achieve the curve I need I think I need to be able to go to more decimal places; however, I was also wondering if I could make use of the offset setting to accomplish t...

Thank you!
Hello Mark, I just wanted to send you a personal thank you for adding the genius feature of the offset multiple that has enabled me to get my barometric pressure as accurate (to a whole number) as a Davis. I am so marvelled by this as my old Oregon Scientific WMR928N is getting on for nearly 20 year...

OS WMR928 support working nicely
Hi Mark C.,
Just wanted to feed back that the battery warning for WMR928 weather stations and offset feature to correct barometer reading inaccuracy are working very well and to thank you for adding these features to CMX.
Thanks!

Re: WMR928N: Low Battery, Sensor Contact
Thanks for you reply and advice, Mark. Since yesterday, my wind vane and anemometer data are no longer being received by the WMR928 according to what is on the LCD screen, so I am pretty sure the transmitter the sensors share has developed a fault. I also have a low battery on two of the sensors, ac...

Re: WMR928N: Low Battery, Sensor Contact
Thanks Mark.
Is there anything I can do to help make this happen for myself and other OS WMR928N owners? For example, if I looked at the MX source code, is there existing code for the Fine Offset that I could simply copy and make edits to to make it WMR928N compatible?

Re: WMR928N: Low Battery, Sensor Contact
Hi, Thank you for your prompt reply. I just use the standard index.html webpage served up by Cumulus MX and I can see the alarms for sensor contact and low battery are green despite there being failures for both currently. So I can do nothing currently to get these statuses working with my particula...

WMR928N: Low Battery, Sensor Contact
Hi, I understand from reading a couple of other posts that one can customise Cumulus MX to use web tags compatible with one's particular PWS. I would like to see if my OS WMR928N is capable of alarming with CMX on a low battery on its sensors and also when contact is lost with a sensor. My question ...

Re: Mono 6 upgrade failure and SSE4.1
Hi Mark, Thanks for your helpful reply. My SSH connection froze and could not be re-established and Cumulus stopped updating, so I think the' installation crashed my OPi Lite. I rebooted and ran "sudo dpkg --configure -a" to repair the installation, which worked and didn't take very long. ...

Mono 6 upgrade failure and SSE4.1
Hi, While upgrading my Mono 4.6.2 installation to Mono 6.12.0.90, ahead of upgrading to the latest Cumulus MX release, I received the following lines during the installation: Mono precompiling /usr/lib/mono/4.5/csc.exe for arm (LLVM disabled due to missing SSE4.1)... Mono precompiling /usr/lib/mono/...

Re: Feature Requests
Hi Mark, Thank you for your reply and apologies for the delay in my reply to you. Yes, that makes sense but would that allow for to the addition or subtraction above and below the point at which no offest is needed? In my case, my barometric sensor crosses the 'origin', of a graph, where it needs &q...

Re: Feature Requests
I was hoping that the Calibration Settings pressure offset setting could be enhanced to improve the accuracy of lesser accurate weather stations. Nothing really offers the level of accuracy a Davis Instruments weather station offers, but its price tag is a little out of reach for many. If the pressu...
