That was the smoking gun - I had a bug in my python script that converted/formatted that value, related to mm<->in conversions.
Thanks Mark!

Re: Rainfall does not seem to register (EasyWeather.dat)
I enabled logging (and data logging), and I feel that what Paul said might be happening. Attaching a relevant log from MXdiags. I tipped the gauge once at around 14:35 and did not see any change in the rain total). Then, I tipped the gauge 3-4 times at around 14:40 and at that time I saw it register...

Re: Rainfall does not seem to register (EasyWeather.dat)
The daily rain does not get incremented. We got some rain overnight, and the rainfall remains 0 on the main web pane.

Rainfall does not seem to register (EasyWeather.dat)
We don't have rain too often :-) but I just noticed those few rain tips here and there just do not register. I am creating EasyWeather.dat file which at this point looks like this: 0, 0, 0, 2021-01-24, 16:43:32, 1, 55, 20.21, 100, 20.05, 0, 0, 0, 1006.61, 0.1072896, 0, 0.4425696, 0, 0, SSE, 0, 0, 0,...

Rebuilding data
Hi, Would you know are there any open source project(s), a tool or a set of scripts, that would read all CumulusMX basic monthly log files (ex. "Mar20log.txt" etc.), process them, and rebuild all consequent "upper level" files like "alltime", "year" etc? In pa...

Re: MS WHS 2011 -- New Install of Cumulus MX
Yes - it was the firewall! Sorry for suspecting the sw issue :) Instead of allowing a particular application through the firewall, I set it up to allow certain ports no matter what application uses them. I added 2 ports: 8998 (default for web access) + 8002 (socket server for Javascript so they can ...

Re: FTP login
I got it to work last night: the problem was that I was modifying the INI file directly in an editor and then stopping and restarting the MX software. Doing it that way, the CumulusMX was stripping the @domain.com from my user name in the INI file. Once I typed it through the web interface setup, th...

FTP login
Hi, I am having a problem configuring CumulusMX to log in to my host provider - they require the ftp user name to contain the domain name and CumulusMX strips that portion of the string. For example, I need to ftp with these credentials; Manual Settings FTP Username: weather@mysite.com FTP Server: f...

Re: MS WHS 2011 -- New Install of Cumulus MX
What exactly did you do to get this resolved, Bruce? I am having the very same problem and I believe the issue is with CumulusMX and the way it binds to network adapters. For example, I tried another simple web-client software "miniweb" and it worked with not problems right out of the box:...
