Active NAT Sessions.

Just an observation I made while poking around in my Router. There are a lot of concurrent NAT sessions listed between my weather PC & my website host. Does this appear normal, or is it an indication of so sort of unnoticeable FTP issue? There's maybe 1/2 dozen more not visible in the image. Capture...

Re: Rain cone holding water

If you are up for another video experiment, a light wiping with a diluted detergent would be interesting.

I know ultimately it's gonna rinse off, but would be an interesting exercise still the same.

Re: Continued SFTP upload failure of realtime.txt

Still only using standard FTP here but been meaning to mention this. Last week we had woeful issues with our hosting provide. Basically every thing that could go down did. Then services up & down following that. I did notice though that the current MX though that it remained very stable throughout t...

Re: Rain cone holding water

Don't recall my experience of using RainX 20+ years back on the car. Would assume a wetting agent on surfaces would help as it would help break the surface tension of the water drops & pool in the strainer. I'd expect it would eventually/Quickly wash away though. Any waxing might help it run down th...

Re: Add a "Local copy" option to Internet settings

and I've got the programming skills to fix it, so thought I would have a go at changing it! One thought I had that some others rejected as an option to upload standard files with PHP extension. Not applicable for fully fledged PHP sites was what someone mentioned. But for one with limited html & PH...

I really couldn't be bothered to enter 20 odd extra web files in the configuration,
Just thinking on a tangent from the Windows World.
If I was faced with the issue I'd look at installing a very simple FTP server on my hosting PC.

I'm sure Pi has one. One suggestion is sudo apt install proftpd.

It should work fine on 7.* as stated in the first post.
It looks to me like the calendar support has been disabled in PHP.
Noticed I was on 7.1.1; just finished updating to 7.1.3. No Change.

I did notice a section with php extensions in cPanel, Can't see much that relates there.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Looks like it's a version compatibility thing.

Just tried reverting the domain to PHP 5.6 & it all behaves normally.

7.0 or later seems like where it breaks.

I'm happy to revert my site to 5.6, but if Beteljuice wants to test, I can leave it in the 7's.

Cheers.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

Thanks. I suspect they attempted some failed upgrade process & as a result I did notice that PHP selections had changed. Turned the error checking on & got this returned. Re: FTP feed for web site

Looks like it's up running now, although from http://www.jeffbartlett.org/cumulus/index.htm Not just http://www.jeffbartlett.org/index.htm Depending on your hosting service you could just leave it there & setup a Sub-domain to point in that direction. Much like how http://weather.inverellit.com/ sim...
