Re: CumulusMX with GW1000 stopped running
The GW1000 cannot work if it is not connected to the Internet. There are several sentinels and watchdogs that require the Internet. You've left me with two big clues. You said that you are not uploading to Ecowitt.net and you said that the problem occurs every 10 minutes. I know that the 10 minute m...

Re: Discussion for FO / Ecowitt / Ambient Wiki Pages
Back to the main subject of this thread. I suppose "if you build it they will come." But that is just it. How, where, and by whom? Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? Yes myself and Gyvate have much of the knowledge and we can fill the pages. But perhaps someone else would like ...

Re: Discussion for FO / Ecowitt / Ambient Wiki Pages
Seems like GARNI is just like Ambient and Froggit, in that they sell not just Fine Offset clones but they also sell CCL and UCTECH clones.

Re: Windy.com now accepting PWS data
Yes, one of the advantages of uploading directly to Windy is better timeliness of data (just 5 minute latency). Letting data get to Windy via CWOP -> MADIS is always going to show considerable delays.
Just more motivation to switch over to CMX.

Re: Windy.com now accepting PWS data
You have to be fully registered with CWOP to be ingested by MADIS in order to show up on Windy.
What is your CWOP ID?

Re: Nightmare ...
Can anyone recommend a wiki pages host? I'll likely have more questions. (respond not to this thread but to the link below) Sorry to the OP for threadjack. At least the OP issue is resolved so hopefully this isn't terrible. To be fair let's continue this Product Matrix / Wiki talk in this other thre...

Discussion for FO / Ecowitt / Ambient Wiki Pages
This is a continuation of a topic that was raised in another thread regarding the possibility of having sonme Wiki Pages for FO / Ecowitt / Ambient / etc.. stations. Original thread where the idea was suggested: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=151907#p151907 Over at wxforum.net we have...

Re: Nightmare ...
You can see a good matrix of compatible parts here: https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=40730.0 Aha, never seen that post before. That sheds some light in the maze of that type of stations. Thnx @galfert, and certainly @Gyvate for maintaining that thread! Thank you! I started the original versi...

Re: Nightmare ...
The GW1000 and the WH2650 will not work with older Fine Offset clones. That is why it likely didn't work for you. The GW1000 and WH2650 only support the newer Fine Offset clones... WH65 all-in-one and the older WH24 all-in-one. Of course they also support the new separate components...WS68, WS80, WH...

Re: Nightmare ...
I think what the OP is saying is that with their new station they have no idea how to now connect Cumulus to their new station. Seems that from looking up the new Brandson station that is happens to be a current model FO clone of the WH2910C. Some good news and some potential bad news.... It is uncl...

Re: Ambient Weather WS-2902A
The WS-2902C does not have the same capabilities as the GW1000. The WS-2902C cannot be queried for data via API (data pull). Rather the WS-2902C can only send data via HTTP GET (data push). The GW1000 can also do the data push via HTTP method. The Ambient protocol data push of the WS-2902C is not th...

Well I guess that answers that. Cumulus MX 3.10.0 was just released. We'll be on 3.x numbering for the foreseeable future.

Re: Too many open files
AWEKAS allows for 1 minute upload interval if you opt in for the free Plus account, otherwise you are limited to 5 minute uploads. There is an even higher account that is paid that will allow 15 second uploads and it will also give you a nicer custom website and that paid service is called StationsW...

Re: Mac Install, sees station, no data
I suppose I could use WLL be that would defeat the purpose of what I'm trying to do. WeatherDislpay (WD) is the primary weather software. I've got historical data back to 2007 and it is tightly integrated into my Home Automation program "Indigo". It triggers many events. I don't see how a...
