Re: Strange Error when loading MX with WH1081

Finally some success with it all thankfully, done a few reboots to make sure it was not a one off thing but sure enough, it works. I followed the instructions on another page on this forum regarding Mono, sounds like it can be a funny tool. Now i have to deal with the "Connection is Closed"...

Re: Strange Error when loading MX with WH1081

Yeah I might have to re image it all and start over, knowing that it works well on your side.

I’ll give an update on how things have progressed, hopefully I can get the Pi to read it

Strange Error when loading MX with WH1081

Hi All, After my Raspberry Pi 2 gave up after 9 years of service, I have moved onto a Raspberry Pi 3b+ running Raspian Buster but I have run into a problem that I cannot work out why. I have issued both sudo apt-get update/upgrade and installed mono-complete with no issues but when i go to terminate...

Error when booting MX

I've installed MX on a seperate SD card for another weather project using the basic WH1091 WX Station, when I went to boot Cumulus up, I was greeted with this error, it did not come up before tho, only just today, any reason why? It's all a fresh batch from the start including MX download so I am co...

Re: error 32701

By memory that error is no communication to the station. Because you have restated the console due to a battery change, your PC probably changed the COM port to a different number. So you will have to experiment by finding what COM port its in or take the easy way out and use WeatherLink to communic...

Serial port failure

HI Steve, Woke up to find my station had been 'flatlining' and went to see what the Pi was showing was a bunch of errors (see Diag folder), Via WU it stopped around 3:30PM 28th June (Adelaide, Australia, CST Time) Could this be the fact its not plugged into the USB port on the Pi itself as I have th...

Re: Solar Data and Max solar data out of sync

Shouldn't be any of them
- Timezone set to Adelaide (+9:30)
- longitude and latitude copied from Cumulus 1.9.4 so it's exact (well a couple metres up the road)
- solar sensor is straight

Didn't have this problem with 1.9.4

I'll have a closer look to see if it does the same on the Pi

Solar Data and Max solar data out of sync

I also have MX running on a Win 7 laptop for the moment until an adaptor arrives fro my Pi so it can have Internet connection, going to have a VP attached it to also use WD. As I'm browsing through the records I've noticed the solar and max solar data are out of sync with each other by at least 3 1/...

Unknown Error popping up when closing Rasp Pi2

I'm all new to the raspberry pi thing but I am surprised myself that I managed to install it. However upon closing MX on the Pi, an error came up and told to Zip up the file (see attached) Also I am going to Run the Pro 2 via this method, how do I determine what COM port is used so the station and M...

Cheers for the replies, I've downloaded Cumulus MX last night and finally figured out how to use it (not a PC code person) but do like the outlook so far

Archive Realtime.txt possible?

I've just discovered that Cumulus (after using it for years) does real time, is there a way to continuously archive the realtime.txt data or does it just refresh the one row at the set interval time?
