I can't see a "Connection reset by peer" exception anywhere in those files.

Steve,

I can see it on the console though.
I will post it once it happens again.

Re: CumulusMX lost connection, does not reconnect until rest

I have the exact same issue! I thought that the problem you were seeing was that Meteohub just stops responding - in particular when it gets a LOOP2 request? And disabling LOOP2 has worked around the problem for now? Are you seeing the TCP/IP connection being disconnected as well, resulting in that...

Re: CumulusMX lost connection, does not reconnect until rest

@jmelan,

This seems to be a common issue with meteohub and cumulusmx.

I have the exact same issue!

I use Debian 8 and Meteohub.

Re: Migrating from 1.9 (Win) to MX (Linux)

Reviving my old post. Debian 8 Jessie is a no as it does not support libudev0 any longer. I've tried the various fixes I can see in the forum, however though the 'nix box can see the FineOffset in the LSUSB view Cumulus won't see it presumably because of the missing libudev. I can understand the wh...

Re: cumulusmx issues

Steve,

Yes I did made that change but it seems that LOOP2 packets are more sensitive.

Implementenging that change would be awesome!

Thank you so much for your time and consideration of this small change!

When time permits I'll send in a donation.

Thanks again!

Re: cumulusmx issues

CumulusMX is connected via TCP/IP to meteohub and meteohub just passthrough the connection to the davis logger. So you have a TCP/IP logger? I have no idea how Meteohub works, or how the pass-through mechanism works, but it can't be a simple case of transparently passing the connection through, as ...

Re: cumulusmx issues

Team, For a while now I been fighting an issue that happens only with CumulusMX. A few threads ago Steve said that the issue is that the connection gets dropped. CumulusMX connects to Meteohub using passthrough. So I have decided to test other applications (WD).... It seems that WD does not have th...

Re: Instability when using an extra USB to Serial adapter

What side of the world are you in? Ill be more than glad to buy it from you. :D Hi TX, thanks for the offer but as i am in Australia it would probably cost more in postage than for you to source one locally and install the Meteo firmware on it. The 3020 cost me around $40 and i have not yet registe...
