Re: Low Battery Alarm

Hi Mark, Started getting the low battery alarm again, MXDiags attached with debugging on. Looks like the culprit is the moisture sensor. Have also attached a chart of the battery voltage from the Ecowitt dashboard. I have set the alarm on the dashboard when the voltage falls below 1.5v and it all lo...

Alarm threshold - Data lost

Hi all, If I understand the alarm threshold and latch correctly, the threshold determines how many alarm events need to be activated within the threshold period before a notification is sent. I get the occasional data connection lost error on one of my stations (probably low wifi signal between the ...

Low Battery Alarm

Hi all, Hoping someone might have some thoughts on a low battery alarm I have been receiving recently on my Ecowitt GW1001 system (also have a lightning sensor and moisture sensor). When I have received these alarms, the battery display on the Ecowitt dashboard (attached) is all showing normal so no...

Re: Remote Access to rPi.

Hi all, Bit late wading into this one and doubt it will solve @Phil23's original problem but I have used PiVPN for a few years now ( https://www.pivpn.io/ ) for remote access to my RPI's and love it. Specifically written for RPi and has a nice installer to guide installation for those of us with lim...

Lightning data wiped on upgrade

Hi all, I upgraded to b3132 today and noticed that my lightning data was wiped (WH57 lightning sensor on my Ecowitt GW1001 station). I think I have seen this before so don't think it relates to this build. I have modified my websiteT.json file (attached) to pull in the lightning data and display it ...

Re: degree days and temp sump charts not loading

Hi Freddie,
Many thanks for taking the time to respond. All makes sense and I remember reading this when trawling the net on linux file permissions. Files updated today with no issues so looks like problem solved. Not sure what happened on the first transfer.

Cheers

Re: degree days and temp sump charts not loading

Hi Freddie, As far as my limited linux file permissions goes, the new files have owner read and write, user group read and no world permissions (hence why they won't load). All the other json files in the web directory have owner read and write, user group read and world read. In the MX web director...

Re: degree days and temp sump charts not loading

Thanks Beteljuice and Mark for your feedback. The file permissions in the web folder are clearly different (-rw-r----- vs -rw-r--r---) but they are identical to all the other json files in the MX web directory. Clearly showing my lack of knowledge on Linux file permissions here but don't understand ...

Re: degree days and temp sump charts not loading

Many thanks for the prompt response. I didn't make myself very clear - apologies. It is specifically the degree days and temp sum charts on the historic charts page that don't load. All the other charts are fine.

Cheers
