Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Re: Scroller Text Forecast

Got the scroller to work :). Not sure what happened, maybe I didn't save it the first time :bash:
When I get a chance I will zip up and upload my indexT.htm file. I'm on the IPad right now.
Thanks!!

Re: Daylight

Where does Cumulus get info for xx hours of sunlight today's. It's not displayed in my homepage.
Example:
Some pages say 'there will be 2 minutes 21 seconds less daylight tomorrow'
How do I add that?

Re: Scroller Text Forecast

Also, I understand that on the main cumulus (console) page there is the white text box with the 'Current' label. The Wiki and help say to use that feature, turn it on in the display settings...I can't seem to find that anywhere;( If you can see it, then you've presumably turned it on? If not, the d...

Scroller Text Forecast

Hi All, The forecast text in the display, how do you make it scroll instead of just appear? Is there a way to do that or is that a function of the weather station itself? Also, I understand that on the main cumulus (console) page there is the white text box with the 'Current' label. The Wiki and hel...

Re: What to purchase

Steve, Today we're going to install your software. Was poking around with V1.9.4 and got a few things to work. It's been a while since I've used an FTP program and edited HTML but it comes back little by little. Should we bite the bullet and go with MX Beta or install the 1.9.4? I've beta tested sof...

Re: What to purchase

So I ordered the Ambient WS2095. I should have it tomorrow and the mount should be here Saturday. I was going to go with the Davis Vue but figured let me start out with something lower priced and see how it goes. Looks like we'll get to play around with it this weekend. I'm sure I'll be posting some...

Re: What to purchase

I have two kids (11 and 13) and I want to do a family project that they can learn from and I think this would be Great.. What about the WeatherDuino Pro2? This looks like a project that all could learn from. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing one as a second unit and also to learn more about t...

Re: What to purchase

Thanks for the replies, thats a big price difference between the units. I did a little reading up on the features AMWS2090 and for the price it seems really good. Do you need anything additional to connect to Cumulus and WU ? I found a price for the Davis Vue (not including the USB link) for $269 on...

What to purchase

I've always been intrigued with the weather...A friend uses an older set up, forget the name, but it connects to Cumulus and the gauge feature is amazing. I'm looking to spend under $400 USD for a set up. I have a dedicated computer and Internet access. I have two kids (11 and 13) and I want to do a...
