Thanks for the clarification. My bad.
Good work on this product. LOVE LOVE how stable it is. It's been rock solid for as long as I've been running it.

Re: Extreme values on barometer
So am I misunderstanding what the gauge is displaying. The dark pink on the lows and highs. I don't remember seeing them before I updated. Now that I'm looking at other sites, I see them also. I assume then that is the region that has never been reached by a low or high. The "border" of th...

Extreme values on barometer
How do I clear the data that is causing the extreme (pink) values on my barometer?

I assume it's a piece of bad data someplace. Where do I look for it?

RasPi and PiGlow
Just ordered one of these from Amazon. Cheap $10 and looks like a fun toy to play with. Here's a guy who used an LEDBorg to light up with a rain forecast. http://www.howtogeek.com/140063/build-an-led-indicator-with-a-raspberry-pi-for-email-weather-or-anything/all/ With some creativity, one could use...

Re: Auto starting CumulusMX Debian RPi
Pete, I use Filezilla for FTP. Your suggestion to use a GUI FTP client as an "explorer" is excellent. Much easier to see a directory tree graphically, although I'm not afraid of the command prompt, it's nice to see the full picture. I actually use WinSCP command line at several client site...

Re: Auto starting CumulusMX Debian RPi
Hi Why don't you try out this Start stop Script? https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13767 Also if you don't want to use it, there is also an explanation how you can add a Cron Job which is starting a script at system boot. Jank, That script is perfect. The instructions are actua...

Re: Auto starting CumulusMX Debian RPi
Forgive me, but I'm very new to Linux. I go back to the DOS days with autoexec.bat which I fully understand. This script stuff is new to me. I can run the screen -amds bash mono /home/pi/CumulusMX/CumulusMX.exe command. Runs fine and I can close the SSH session and it keeps running. How do you make ...

Re: Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera
Yea, I bout this one a while back to put out on our building site to monitor work out there on our house. http://www.amazon.com/ANRAN-Resolution-Waterproof-Surveillance-varifocal/dp/B00MXWUO8Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1438292914&sr=1-2&keywords=ptz+camera For $130 bucks I...

Re: What is best (better) wireless webcam
First of all... solar (no power to the cam) is going to take a fairly big panel and battery to keep it going. If it's cloudy for a while, your batt goes dead and your camera goes off. It's not practical unless you are willing to have a big 50w panel connected to a deep cycle battery. Probably good f...

Re: Gauges not working
Oh yea, I did see OS X. Good work on multiple platforms. I finally moved it to a better "free" host and it's working very well. Thanks for the tips. My problem was \ Backslashes for paths in Linux .txt files are allowed to be uploaded, but not served in the webhost. Now I can have fun cust...

Re: Gauges not working
Since I have the developer ears, the installer defaults for COM port for station serial port should be "/dev/ttyUSB0" not "COM0". I figured that out, but why not just let the default be the proper Linux default. Because it runs on platforms other than Linux, and /dev/ttyUSB0 is ...

Re: Gauges not working
Besides a fantastic piece of software, having the developer respond so quickly and directly is unheard of. Thank YOU! Yes, it seems my slashes were wrong. Linux doesn't like backslashes and that seems to have solved the "extra files" problem. Gauges still not displaying and you are correct...

Re: Gauges not working
As are the other T files i.e.indexT.htm. You seem to have misunderstood the relationship between T files and the upload files. T files are never written to they are simply read and processed by Cumulus MX and then uploaded as temporary files to the same name without the T. Hence indexT.htm is proce...

Re: What is best (better) wireless webcam
I'm not a big fan of WiFi cameras. Eat up way too much WiFi bandwidth.
Best option is a POE wired camera. You'll be glad you did.
