That's too bad.
I wonder if anyone has found an external application to create graphs from the data. I suppose even something as simple as Open Office Calc (or Excel) could do it? Perhaps there is a better solution?

MX and select a graph?
My apologies if this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything recent on this subject in the forum.
The question: is there a way to do 'Select-A-Graph' in Cumulus MX as I could in Cumulus 1?
Cheers.

Re: Which weather station to buy??
Thanks Ray. Sorry I didn't reply before this but for some strange reason I was not 'subscribed' to this thread and only saw your reply today. Anyway... I managed to fix my Fine Offset weather station, (pinched/broken wire between the anemometer and the other electronics) so I'm kind of happy for tha...

Which weather station to buy??
Hi All, I'll looking for recommendations as to which weather station to purchase. I currently have an "Ambient Weather" (fine offset) that has stopped reporting the wind speed. I tried repairing it but couldn't see anything obviously wrong. Now I'm thinking of replacing it, so... which one...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
I can't seem to beat it into submission... I can not seem to get the older version on mono completely installed. It keeps complaining about dependencies and even if I try manually to install the dependencies (there are a LOT and I have no idea why it's forcing me to do that) it still seems to instal...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
Good news and bad news... first the good news, after much fighting I've managed to get this: Mono JIT compiler version 4.0.5 (Stable 4.0.5.1/1d8d582 Thu Nov 12 12:03:50 UTC 2015) now the bad news, When I try to run mono CumulusMX.exe I get: [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.TypeInitializatio...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
All those commands work, no errors, but I still seem to have mono version 4.2.1 installed.
Perhaps I'll try Steve's advice and remove all of mono... all 155 packages... wish me luck!!

Re: WMR200 station not found!
Maybe I'm doing something wrong... (probably) Both sudo apt-get autoremove mono-complete and sudo apt-get autoremove --purge mono-complete return Package 'mono-complete' is not installed, so not removed and yet when I do mono -V I get Mono JIT compiler version 4.2.1 (Debian 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-5) If I l...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
Humm... doesn't seem to be working for me. After I issue the command to remove mono-complete (sudo apt-get remove mono-complete) it seems to remove something: The following packages will be REMOVED: mono-complete and then I remove the rest via sudo apt autoremove but when I issue the command to disp...

Re: Correcting data from several months ago ?
Thanks Steve.
Sorry to be such a pest. I start at something and keep coming up with questions...
I'll look into the MySQL stuff, been meaning to anyway.
Thanks again,
Gord

Re: Correcting data from several months ago ?
I apologize for asking so many dumb questions, but here comes another one... :?: Are the "monthly log files" the most complete (raw) data, stored by Cumulus, from the weather station? I assume because the monthly log files are only updated (in my case) ever 5 minutes, that it's possible fo...

Re: Correcting data from several months ago ?
Note also the 'spike removal' settings which are useful for preventing the erroneous figures from Fine Offset stations being logged in the first place. Thanks, I did have the spike removal in place for some, but not all, values. I've just corrected that! I'm sorry if I don't understand what the 'ed...

Re: Correcting data from several months ago ?
One more question on this same subject. I have some wind speed readings that are incorrect, showing a max wind speed of 138.24Km/hour. I can find the erroneous number in alltime.ini, alltimelog.txt, dayfile.txt, month.ini, monthlyalltime.ini, Oct15log.txt and year.ini. This leads me to believe the i...

I agree.
I've added what you suggested and now I can run CumulusMX as a non-root user.
Thanks!

Re: barriers to not using root for MX?
wow Steve, you opened a whole new area for me! I never knew much about udev and now I know just enough to be dangerous. Well not too dangerous because I still don't understand much. One thing I found when researching this udev stuff was the following: Files in /etc/udev/rules.d/ are parsed in lexica...
