Re: Air Pressure readings
Not a problem thanks steve, hmm there's a few pressure readings now, that I've gone through, those calculators are really annoying. I just reset the station and pressure seems to be ok now. Now hopefully awekas can become active again! http://kotaraweather.com/trends.htm - can somebody kindly check ...

Re: raspberry pi 3
Boot of the SD card and then run the main operating system on a an SSD/hard disk or USB stick. I use Raspberry boot to do that and I have now had Kodi running on a Pi 2 without fault for over a year, whereas a SD card was always failing. Also make sure you are using a good enough power supply as a ...

Re: raspberry pi 3
woops just looked it's a Lexar 16gb, Micro SD, Class 10 - I thought it was a class 3. Apologies, hmm would it be better running jessie raspbian without the gui? Maybe that's why it's stuffing up.
I reset it this morning and all it was doing was an fdisk over and over and over!
cheers,
Matt

Re: Wind direction trend and rose issues on MX
Hey, I've got the same weather station this happens to me when the wind is turbulent, wind station is about 90m above SL even when the wind is strong The only time I've seen the wind vain working is when there's constant wind and no real gusts. I've seen it switch from N to a fierce southerly and th...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
What would you enter ???? ... again it is not an error, it is a deliberate piece of coding. The philosophy is simply you don't know how much liquid was in the 'spoons' to start with, plus a single 'tip' in a day may be birds . wind or another non rain related event. Here is one (of many) rain defin...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Thanks for the link Duke! Will give that piece of software a go. PaulMy, hmm weird, when I search in notepad (file is only 3 days long) I can't seem to find 0.4 or 1.1. Here's the dayfile.txt, http://kotaraweather.com/day/dayfile.txt The program (ie. my coding !) assumes that a single 'tip' in a day...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
cool, got mine working, however I'm not getting any data for rainfall? As http://kotaraweather.com/monthlyrecord.htm advises there was 0.08in on the 26 April 2015, but for some reason it's not showing up on the day record, here http://kotaraweather.com/day/basic.php. Once I work out the rain, I'll s...
