Re: Cumulus RealTime Data Grabber - Tool
Hi Mark, thanks for replying. I would appreciate to have option like realtimelog but with update frequency defined in seconds (as you know Cumulus can produce log every minute, Cumulus Toolbox can read every realtime.txt but create realtimelog.txt in minutes and it's not so frendly and easy to chang...

Re: Cumulus RealTime Data Grabber - Tool
But I found your program and I can see that interval is 15 sec, which is much better, but can I somehow get 8 seconds (refresh rate of my weather station)? In file "updateinteval" I found value from program (15000) If I change value to 8000, will program have refresh on 8 sec? I solved that ;) it w...

Re: Cumulus RealTime Data Grabber - Tool
Hello Mark, I'm trying to find tool which can produce log from realtime.txt file. I found Cumulus toolbox but there is problem than Cumulus produce realtime.txt in interval by seconds and toolbox can't, minimum is one minute. But I found your program and I can see that interval is 15 sec, which is m...

Re: Data lost between two data log intervals
OK, thanks for reply, I'll try to do something. But I still think that is very oddly that Cumulus Toolbox can produce realtimelog.txt in minimum interval of a one minute and Cumulus can produce realtime.txt in a interval in a seconds. I can't really understand why toolbox doesn't follow Cumulus poss...

Re: Data lost between two data log intervals
Unfortunately I don't have any skills in writing batch files :( So I would appreciate any help. That is something like this? :start copy /b realtime.log+realtime.txt realtime.tmp tail --quiet --lines=1440 realtime.tmp > realtime.log copy realtime.log Z:\casa\cumulus\realtimelog.txt choice /C N /T 60...

Re: Data lost between two data log intervals
What Paul recommended is what I need. It creates realtime log from realtime file. But one problem, Cumulus toolbox has minimum update frequency in minutes, Cumulus have possibility to make realtime.txt in seconds. So, file I get is same as monthly.log. How to get update in seconds (without any addit...

Re: Data lost between two data log intervals
Is it anyhow possible to get history data inside same realtime.txt file? According to help it isn't :( Some changes of .ini file? Are you looking for something different than what dayfile.txt provides (contains each day's max, min, etc.)? Perhaps the realtimelog.txt file in Cumulus Toolbox is what ...

If I select option "FTP rename" I get multiple files but with same values, so I couldn't do anything with in Excel. From my point of view one additional option missing, "...

Re: Data lost between two data log intervals
It logs the current value at the time the entry was logged. The other values are read and displayed and used for high/low data etc. If you want to permanently record every individual reading, you would have to devise some way of doing it yourself, e.g. using realtime.txt. Hi Steve, thanks for expla...

Re: Downloading data window remains shown
It's something that seems to happen on some systems, as far as I can tell. Cumulus tells Windows to close the window, but it doesn't get closed. I don't remember there being a solution. Well it isn't some critical issue since (as I can notice ) doesn't cause any data loss. Only is little bit annoyi...

Data lost between two data log intervals
Hello, I've WS2307 and now is connected to station by wireless connection so data refresh is 128 sec. But today is windy weather so data refresh (according to manual) is 32 sec. But I'm planning to connect outside sensors to station with cable connection and then refresh will be in 8 sec. In Cumulus...

Re: Sun sensors
Thanks Steve for a quick response!
Additional question; if I use that sensor I'll have values on log files and in graphs automatically and in real time or I have to use some import method (manually start command to join to log files)?

Sun sensors
Hello to all! I'm a quite new user of this software and also user of model 2307. As you know my station doesn't have option of "sun measurements" so I would like to equip my equipment with solar sensors. As I can see Cumulus is able to use it, but I'm afraid about functionality because for sun data ...
