Thanks.
One less thing to worry about.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Missing file from latest build. - CumulusMX.pdb
CumulusMX.pdb is missing form the 3063 build of MX.
I have the one from 3050 but it has been changed since then.
My installation seems to work with the old file but I assume it's still needed ans should be updated.

Daylight saving change
Running MX on a RPi. In the land downunder, we put our clocks forward last night. Instead if somply skipping one hour, my charts went BACK one hour then skipped two hours the second time it reached 2 am. The data log shows the strange times: 02/10/16,00:50,9.4,81,6.3,5.1,7.2,295,0.0,0.0,1002.8,174.0...

Re: Met Office WOW site - upgraded but many stations missing
I managed a "silver" for 2015 which isn't too bad seeing I only started towards the end of January 2015. This year I will get the "wooden spoon" thanks to a lightning strike in January and then the problems with the WOW site upgrade. It is good to know that they didn't loose all ...

Re: Sanday Weather Closing Down?
I'm going to be posting soon about my future plans, and how they might affect Cumulus. I made the decision 10 years ago and didn't regret it. We went with a US 5th wheeler so I understand the joys of living in a confined space. The health has started to get the better of me now so very glad we did ...

My local Australian BOM sites are also reduced to a non-functioning blue dot.
There are a couple of lonely sites partially functioning but that's all.

Re: WH1081 USB connection fault has developed
Thanks for the reply Steve, I would have thought that Cumulus would detect 'data stopped', so you could use the 'restart if data stopped' setting, so it would restart and then presumably not be able to reconnect, so it would stop logging. I will do some experimenting and see what method I can handle...

Re: WH1081 USB connection fault has developed
I had my first lockup after my WH1081 was running for 7 weeks. The main problem was not knowing it had happened. The lockup occurred just as I went to bed and it was flat line charts that greeted me next morning. My system runs unattended so I prefer to fix things by remote control. I can do the har...

Re: Resetting WeatherLinkIP address
I can think of two options. 1. remove batteries and power from you unit for a few minutes. When power is restored, the unit will get a new address from your router (provided it has DHCP turned on). 2. Most routers can be configured for any local address pool so you could change the address to the sa...

I would start with a Clip On Ferrite Filter or two.

Re: Cumulus slow start
What antivirus are you running?
Windows Defender will often take a long time to check an exe before allowing it to run.
Once the exe has been checked, the next start should be faster, for a few hours, and then its back to a slow check again.

Re: Wh1080 humidity decreasing daily
You may be able to recover the sensor. This is from the data sheet of a DHT22 sensor but other devices I have give similar instructions: 8. Attentions of application: (1) Operating and storage conditions We don't recommend the applying RH-range beyond the range stated in this specification. The DHT2...
