Re: WeatherDuino Pro2 - Build yourself a full Weather Statio
Haha, no a modem restart never helps :) Removing the long latency DNS server from the configuration should, but I can't do that at the moment it'll disrupt other household activities that SWMBO will not permit - may have to fudge it with hosts files. Unfortunately the Telstra mobile network is on so...

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.
Thanks for the two replies Alan ! I've literally run a hobby knife around the TX seam for an hour and didn't manage to get into it. I'll have to try a little harder I guess - then again, a few years in the sun may have really cured the glue :) I probably do need to crack it open to properly clean th...

Re: WeatherDuino Pro2 - Build yourself a full Weather Statio
righto, thanks for that. Must be my DNS service or ISP having intermittent connectivity issues, as it's not available right now. Tested from my phone without connecting to my wifi and it seems to work fine, so it's definitely related to the connection.

Re: WeatherDuino Pro2 - Build yourself a full Weather Statio
is it just me or is the http://www.meteocercal.info/forum site not up very often ? I keep getting timeouts / no response (I'm in Australia). With my recent battles with my FO WS3081 I've ben contemplating a homebuild and thought your sensor and wireless load looked interesting so was looking to dig ...

Re: Solar and UV sensors going off line - fix?
Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I have a similar issue, although mine has just become a problem..... after what might have been the better part of 3 years, I can't recall (it was probably one of the early AU units) It may actually not be the same issue as the solar pod crash, but I tend to th...

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.
I'm going over to the Solar/UV offline thread to post my woes there too, but I thought I'd ask in this thread - how did you crack open the transmitter case ? I have gone over that little thing several times over several hours trying to get it open, but no joy. Any tips ? The glue guy must have been ...

Re: New WH3081 Station Does Not Transmit Outside Temperature
I'm surprised that the outdoor sensor sends other data when the temperature and humidity aren't sent. That's not a typical failure that I've seen (and I've had my WS3081 for a few years now so I've seen a few :groan: ). I definitely would be trying to get the transmitter replaced under warranty, giv...
