Re: List index out of bounds
Thank you very much for your reply. Notepad ++ does have that facility and I thought I had used it. I tried it again and this time it worked. Thank you very much for your help, problem corrected.

Re: WMR89
If you change the rainfall figures in dayfile.txt, you need to restart Cumulus to get it to take those changes into account for the monthly and annual totals, as mentioned in the FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Where_does_Cumulus_get_its_this_month_and_this_year_rainfall_totals_from.3F Thank...

Re: WMR89
That is great, thank you, Steve. I was changing ther wrong file. All now successfully changed and I am much happier. :D One more question for you, please. During the couple of weeks that I was not able to use Cumulus I kept a record of my rainfall. I have updated the dayfile and the correct figures ...

Re: WMR89
Well, I found the weatherstyle.css file and changed the colour for a blue but it till shows brown. Perhaps there is a step I have missed. Never mind, it is not the most important thing in the world so I will soldier on with the brown. The main thing is that cumulus is back to working correctly. Than...

Re: WMR89
What a wonderful program that notepad++ is. It was so simple. Thank you so much for both the usual excellent help with my problem but also for the pointer to notepad++. All is now working perfectly. One further little question, please. In my website page for Cumulus, I have a link to "click her...

Re: WMR89
Thank you for that. I think I see what you mean although I cannot find your exact example. I have to go out now but will start trying to correct this when I get back. Is there an easier way to shortcut all those changes? Is there an index.htp page I can copy over my copy? What editor would you then ...

Re: WMR89
Looks like you've used an editor which has modified the Cumulus web tags, as in the first part of this FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_web_pages_have_things_like_.3C.23location.3E_in_them Thank you very much for the swift reply. Unfortunately, neither of the two options shown in the FAQ h...

Re: WMR89
I have answered this problem by returning the WMR89 and buying, instead, the WMR200. This worked instantly out of the box and I am now happy again. However, I now have a problem with displaying the WMR200 data on my website, which is http://www.hneil.plus.com/now/index.htm I did make a couple of tex...

Re: WMR89
I was contacted by an Oregon Scientific distributor about the WMR89 a while ago, asking if I would support it. I told them it was impossible without at the very least access to the protocol. They said they would ask OS for it. I don't hold out much hope. Thank you for that information. In the last ...

Re: WMR89
Sorry but the WMR89 is in the list of the "unsupported devices" in the Wiki http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Supported_Devices (bottom of the page) That is very disappointing as Cumulus was about the best weather software available. The OS software designed for this "professional" m...

WMR89
I tracked the last problem down to a defective WMR88 main unit so have bought a new WMR89 (apparently OS have stopped making the 88 and the 89 supersedes it). Unfortunately, Cumulus does not seem to work with the new station. What could I be doing wrong, please? The batteries of the remote sensors a...

Re: Cumulus stopped auto posting to my web site
Cumulus waits until it had readings from your station which confirm that it is working correctly before doing web updates. See the FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulus_isn.27t_performing_periodic_tasks.2C_like_data_logging_or_web_uploads Thank you very much for the explanation. It is help...

Re: Cumulus stopped auto posting to my web site
Hi, I have managed to correct this problem. I reset the weather station. I had not tried this earlier as the problem seemed focussed on the computer reboot and did not seem related to the station. I tried the reset as I had run out of other things to try. Hopefully this problem and its solution will...

Cumulus stopped auto posting to my web site
Hi, I am running Cumulus v1.9.4, build 1098 on Windows 10 connected to an Oregon Scientific WMR88. All was running smoothly until about 10-40pm yesterday when Windows 10 asked for a reboot for updates to be installed. Unfortunately I forgot to close Cumulus first and Windows closed it for me. This m...
