Re: Upload extra sensor data to Wunderground

Thank you for your quick answer. I enabled debug logging and I send the following to wunderground: 2017-03-15 19:50:00.606 http://weatherstation.wunderground.com/weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?ID=IAUERBAC13&PASSWORD=********&dateutc=2017-03-15+18%3A50%3A00&winddir=348&windsp...

Upload extra sensor data to Wunderground

Hello, I would like to upload some extra data like soil temperature to wunderground with Cumulus MX. I already tried to edit the cumulus.ini as described in this post https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10777#p95209, but it does not seem to work. Is this feature implemented in MX, ...

Re: Python script emulating vantage protocol

After a lot of considerations a skipped programming the python script and I'm going to implement the emulation into the arduino µC like the WeatherDuino project does.
Thank you for all your feedback.

Re: Python script emulating vantage protocol

Hello, thank you for all your replys. @steve It's no problem, if it's very time consuming because I can write default data in fields that I do not use. Just thought maybe there is some overview I did not find. I have already seen the weather duino project but I could not download the software withou...

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3)

Would it be possible to add some kind of interface to read some additional data from other sensors e.g. ground temperature or snow height. This could a module parsing some strings written in a text file, seperated by comma. The Textfile contains for example: Snow:25, Ground:-3, Before I can define i...

Re: Additional external sensors

Hello Steve,

thank you for your quick reply.

So would it be theoreticaly possible, to tick extra sensors in combination with the selected Fine Offset station and then to emulate protocol of the Davis station to read those sensors?

Additional external sensors

Hello, I'm a new user of Cumulus and I started with a Fine Offset WH3080 because of limited budget. Since the WH3800 has the temperature sensor to be places close to the other sensors, ich would likte do capture additional sensors. I started to build some Sensors with 2 calibrated DS1602 thermometer...
