Sounds OK, but you may also want to edit the various .ini files in the /data folder... The records files rather than using the editor - possibly simpler? [alltime.ini, month.ini, monthlyalltime.ini, year.ini] You should also edit the "current data" contained in today.ini and yesterday.ini...

I can't see any corrosion or anything either on the plug or socket and tried it with a spare rainfall sensor too

I had a quick look when I tried the backup rain collector but will check better.
Interestingly, when I reset the batteries in everything, the pressure did something odd too

WH1080 not detecting rain
My WH1080 is not reporting any rainfall.
I've reset the everything and tried a spare rainfall sensor but still nothing. Any thoughts?

OK, so it looks like it is something in your API key causing the issue. I just checked the source code and it is not being URL encoded. Does it have special characters in it? No - digits, upper and lower case characters and a few full stops. I cleared the box and repasted it as plain text just to b...

OK, that should not cause any issues. Not an immensely helpful error message from .Net What happens if you take the URL from the log file, substitute in your full API key, then try and send it in a browser? That's the only file in that folder that's showing as updated.
