We are back online! Thanks for the hint from the Kaspersky user, I checked our Avast settings, allowed outgoing internet access for Cumulus. If anyone wants to know the details, I can post them. I think I had to reboot Windows to get the change to take effect. Thanks to all. Dick I'll feed this back...

Thanks for the replies. I haven't had a chance to fool with it yet. As to wunderground password, it is in plain text in the Cumulus configuration file (under where Cumulus is installed, I don't know offhand the name). This is not specific to Davis (though that's what I have). I configured to upload to Weather Underground, KCADAVIS12. I turned on logging, and looked at the debug file in C:/Cumulus, and find the error which seems to coming from Weather Underground. But if I cut the line that starts with http://itup...
