Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll think i'll stick with Debian for now. must less hassle once it is up and running and less cpu intensive then Windows 10 :)

Moving to Windows from Linux

If i were to move my setup from Linux Debian to Windows 10, would there be much in the way of change to the configuration or would it be a matter of dropping the CumuluxMX folder onto a folder in windows and running CumulusMX from there?

just thinking out loud...

Linux Support for Uptime/Memory

Hi I am using Saratoga Templates with CumulusMX and running it on Debian Jessie. I have noticed however the System uptime is not reported from CUtags.php. Ken from Saratoga has said the uptime is reported in Windows 10 with CumulsMX so he cannot confirm if this is a Linux issue or not. extract from ...

Round corners

Hi

I am trying to get the "round corners" customisation working from here: https://github.com/stevejenkins/saratog ... ed-corners

but all attempts have not given me round edges. I take it this does not work on the v3 templates?

Quick Question

Hi there. I'm in the process of adding Saratoga Templates to my CumuluxMX setup. Can someone confirm all I need to do when I go live, is remove the index.htm (processed by CumulusMX) and untick the "Include standard files" in the CumulusSetup? That way the website would use Saratoga's inde...

Re: Windows 10 Virtual Machine on a QNAP (Intel) NAS box

Since you have two issues i would start by disabling the firewall firstly on the VM. That way you are not fighting any other issues. Do you have any logging enabled to see what Cumulus is reporting? I'm using a QNAP TVS-463, but only as a web server for CumulusMX. Weather Station is running on an In...

Re: Custom realtime.txt file

I found the issue was I have to include the full path for the Local filename

Local = /CumulusMX/web/testdataT.txt

Remote= Web/weather/testdata.txt

seems to be working now.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Custome realtime.txt file

I've changed it to your suggested filename (testdataT.txt) and i have also played with different filenames in the past. so far no go... do i need to restart CumulusMX for this change to take place? is there any logfile i can via in verbose/debug to find what CumulusMX is doing or not doing? Apologie...
