You can remove "pretty".
RTL_433 code explain the RF protocol uset. All values are in Celsius, mm, m/s and so on.
I don't understand why they used Fahrenheit in the http protocol since there is WU protocol.

If you swtch to arduino you can use 433MHz modules (very cheap), 868MHz modules (RFM69 or similar there is a LoRa version but don'remember the code), 2.4GHz modules (nRF24L01 modules). Anyway that PM sensors have a serial port so you can write your firmware, if you want.
Airrohr firmware it's open source, you can find it on Github. You can modidy it if you want.

GW1000 is a gateway
GW1004 it's a a GW1000 sold with a WH31
GW1100 is a GW1000 with different firmware. While GW1000 setup is made using an app, the GW1100 has a webserver that you can use for setup.
