Re: Buy with a new or old console VP2+
Not directly from the console, but from within weatherlink.com if you subscribe.

Re: Buy with a new or old console VP2+
Afternoon Lonski, I have a question about the new console, does it have logon details for Weather underground and others? and to clarify you mean you can't plug the console into the computer and use cumulus or weatherlink, it all needs to be done via the console? Short answer is, No. No options for...

Re: Buy with a new or old console VP2+
I know in Australia all new ISS come with the new console. The new console will update to the Davis weatherlink website the same as the WLL will. But the new console won't hook intro Cumulus like the WLL will. Hopefully this will change sometime in the future. I have a WLL and the new console, and a...

Re: WLL VP2 and 3.9.1 (build 3096)
Hmmm. I did check all the new and changed files you listed in the new zip, and confirmed they were all there as expected several times over.
Doesn't matter now.. its working again

Re: WLL VP2 and 3.9.1 (build 3096)
Yes it is. DHCP links an address to the MAC address of the WLL, but I also set it manually (the same one) when setting up the WLL via the android app initially. I doubt that the network settings I am using was the fault here, as the WLL was successfully talking to Davis. I also rolled back to a back...

Re: WLL VP2 and 3.9.1 (build 3096)
Yes, all is the same as it was on 3.9.1 (build 3095) but going to the latest 3.9.1 (build 3096) it does not receive data from the WLL.

WLL VP2 and 3.9.1 (build 3096)
Having issues when trying to run the new build 3.9.1 (build 3096) on my VP2 with WLL. From the debug log, CumulusMX is not communicating with the WLL box. I dont have a console just the WLL box.
From the update notes it says new JSON libraries are used and there maybe issues.
Any ideas?

Re: WeatherLink Live
Last week purchased a Vantage Pro2 with weather link live (no console) due to my Oregon 13 year old unit finally dying after 13 years. No replacement parts are available anymore. I rarely used the console on my Oregon, All i need it for was to get my sensor data onto a PC and then upload it to CMX a...

Re: Access through Windows Firewall
I've just this moment sorted it - but thank you anyway. And what did you do to fix it, I have the same problem. Got it! Had to create an inbound rule to allow TCP port 8998 and a second rule to allow TCP 8002 through the firewall on my Windows Server 2012R2 server. CumulusMX.exe is running as a ser...

WMR-968 indoor sensor LCD fault.
Noticed my indoor sensor display going a little bit faint like lack of contrast. So I tried the usual replace batteries, still not change. I decided to look a bit deeper... After opening up the unit, couldn’t see anything obvious, I attempted to remove the main board from the unit by removing 6 smal...

Re: WMR928 rain sensor weakness
Dunno if its the same thing, but my rain sensor would not send any data when it rained, so I replaced the data cable from the solar sender and the gauge itself. old age and the environment had made the data cable outer casing perish and was letting water in. So, I went to the local electronics store...

Re: Windows 8
Mine runs on Server 2012R2, I guess that's kind of W@indows 8.1-ish. Works fine.
