Website "Not safe"

I've had a few people contact me to indicate they can't access my websites as browser indicates not safe. I contacted my webhost GoDaddy and they say, by using Google Chrome to my website yes it has malware, and I need to subscribe to their security service at $324 per year for one domain, or a pack...

Re: Finding a few basic needles in a mass of haystacks

Hi, Great that you have it running  but before continuing too far a suggestion on where you have CumulusMX installed. You have it in C:\Users\imcan\Downloads\Cumulus\CumulusMX and it is recommended to install it directly in a drive like C:\CumulusMX https://www.cumuluswiki.org/a/MX_on_Windows_...

Re: Finding a few basic needles in a mass of haystacks

Hi,and welcome to Cumulus. The amount of information available about Cumulus is quite astonishing, and I congratulate the authors. But to a newby to Cumulus it is somewhat overwhelming. I have for nearly 20 years used the Davis Vantage Pro 2 to monitor village data but for a variety of reasons am no...

Can you also provide a screen capture of your local Dashboard > Records > Records Also, what date do you have in your Station settings > General Settings > Advanced Options > Records Began Date? Advanced Options Here be dragons! Only alter these setti...

Re: Moon data on my site not working on acting wierd

Partly to do with your time settings: Conditions at local time 21:07 on 08 April 2024 as this should be time 16:07 for you (4:07 pm) instead of 21:07 and your home page Almanac is not correct for your sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset. Almanac Dawn 11:40 Sunrise 12:04 Moonrise 11:54 Moon Dusk...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024

Its turning around. While not nightime darkness it turned quite dark quickly and eerie just as the moon passed the centre, and now sunshine appearing again. Got to be very chilly with 4° drop from 18.6°C to 14.6° Glad I got the chance to experience it and monitor with the weather station and saved d...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024

Very noticeable change as getting darker and enough of a temperature change and increase wind to put on a light jacket when going outside.

Enjoy,

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024

Just checking in again.. yes a lot more covered than I'd expected. We're about 85% into it and I expect only a slight sliver of sun may be visible or less. This is where we are now https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/@6112027?iso=20240408 Just shared our glasses with dog walkers by our house and ...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024

Nothing visible on the webcam, which is updated once a minute, but at 35 minutes from start there is about 40% moon coverage for us and I can see the direction the moon is moving and what part of the sun won't be covered as we are not in total coverage. I didn't think I'd get this excited over it, b...

Re: Solar eclipse April 8, 2024

Perfect blue sky but very difficult to take pictures from my phone. The special glasses from the Optometrist work great, and didn't realize how small the sun actually is with using them compared to the full glare of the sun. I can see a bit of the moon blocking but another hour for maximum from our ...
