Re: A mysterious lapse into constant zero readings on temperature
Hi Paul, jst noticed your hopeful reply from August. So sorry about that but what with the Coronavirus meltdown and other troubles I simply gave up on the idea of fixing it and now just limp along as best I can. Have you fixed YOUR problem. LOL :P . Just taken delivery of a Davis Vantage Pro but har...

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX
Thanks Freddie, that very concise piece of information has cleared out the irritation in my head completely. I will now feel much more positive about the private channel. Much obliged

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX
Hi Paul, tried to reply to your private messages but I met the same obstacle I encountered a long time ago. replies just sit in my Outbox and will not send. If that can be fixed I will then be able to respond through the private channel. Otherwise I will just post "en clair" in this thread...

I am getting error results
Cumulus MX has told me to zip the Diags folder and post it on the forum. This is the first day that I have run it together with a new WatsonWS8681 station

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX
Thanks Paul, that's really useful.I am right on the cusp of a changeover of weather stations and also need to get Weather Underground "onside" so that they will see correct readings, which means using the new station and combining that with Cumulus MX. I want to keep all that separate from...

Re: How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX
Thank you so much for a prompt response. Firstly, I am on Weather Underground as IUNITEDK78 but my station temperature readings failed some time back and WU now put me down as Offline. After all the Covid 19 pandemonium eased a bit (my wife and I are shielders) I finally got around to ordering and t...

How do I set about integrating Weather 34 into Cumulus MX
I am coming late to MX but have the latest build ready to upload and use together with a Watson weather station that has yet to arrive. PHP looks a little daunting but I want to learn quickly so that I can add all sorts of new features whilst still plodding along with a Fine Offset running a separat...

Re: A mysterious lapse into constant zero readings on temperature
Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. It has convinced me, at the moment, that Cumulus itself can't be corrected so it looks like a "mechanical" fault with the Fine Offset is the cause of the problem. Yes, I am getting a (---) reading on the console for the outside temperature so that,...

A mysterious lapse into constant zero readings on temperature
I am running Cumulus 1.9.4 on a Fine Offset station. Over the winter I had a mechanical problem when the anonemeter gave up the ghost after long service but I was able to get a replacement part from China at a VERY reasonable cost. One problem sorted. That was then replaced by a total lack of any te...

Re: Cumulus processing an extra template
Hi Paul, well that piece of magic worked well !! Still not entirely sure, however........ Had a good study of the webtags in your unzipped file and came to the guess that <#location> had a lot to do with it but that is likely to be way wide of the mark. Anyway, I have now tidied up the template prod...

Re: Cumulus processing an extra template
http://the9libraries.org.uk/observations.htm I have manually uploaded the file so that you can see it but it has obviously not been processed. I am thankful that you mentioned the webtags as that was the whole thrust of my request in the first instance. What exactly would I have to add to the observ...

Re: Cumulus processing an extra template
Hi Phi I am not running Cumulus MX yet but still with Cumulus 1.9.4, but possibly that only clouds my understanding of what you are saying. not necessarily the end result. However, I have an observations page created locally so I put a Process/Realtime/FTP instruction in Cumulus to look at observati...

Cumulus processing an extra template
I am looking forward to adding much more to the standard templates but first of all I REALLY need to know EXACTLY how to add another page to what we all have as standard. Can somebody please put me out of my misery and give me a blow-by-blow account of what webtag command I should put into the templ...

Re: realtime txt workaround
I have been engaging in a veritable smorgasbord of combinations to see if anything works, shuttling between all options as you outline. The test folder will not function so i think your idea that 3 realtime txt files may be one too many is the unwelcome answer and I have temporarily abandoned that i...
