Botched Upgreade
Looking for some troubleshooting tips... I had MX running as a service on a headless Debian server for a couple of years. Today I decided to upgrade to the latest MX version. After stopping the service on the Debian server, I used Termius on a Windows machine to copy over the files from the latest v...

CumulusMX.Servce Issue
Hello all, I am running MX on a Raspberry PI Zero W attached to a Davis Vue Console / datalogger. Been working for years on a PI-3, I am just trying to move my system to the smaller platform. When I start MX things with : sudo mono /opt/CumulusMX/CumulusMX.exe Everything works fine. However, I am ha...

Botched Upgreade
I shut down MX and using FTP dragged the CumulusMX folder from my Pi-3 over to my PC desktop. (Made an extra copie just in case). Then I copied over the 3.28.2 files to the folder I pulled off the Pi-3, then put that back on my Pi-3. Reboot and MX is back up and running at 3.28.2 but I am missing al...

Re: Sharing Data Logger Data
Ahh yes, I seem to remember Virtual VP when I tried to do this a few years back. Thanks for tip and links. And the reason I want/need more then MX is because it works so good I don't have a need to mess with it, soooo I need to find something else I can break then have something to fix! I like the i...

Re: Using MX to update older website
Well, here is a big problem... looking closer at my Index.html I must of swapped it out with a file already processed at some point so all my tags are gone! I need to find a backup or rebuild my index file. I added a quick tag and it updated just fine. let me know if you still can't hit this.. http:...

Re: Using MX to update older website
Well, I have my index.html and realtime.txt files now successfully updating to the web server, but still no new Weather data populating my pages. Not sure it should matter but I am using a Raspberry as the local server. Local paths: /run/cmx-realtime.txt /opt/CumulusMX/webfiles/index.html The cmx-re...

Re: Using MX to update older website
That is helpful, cuts 50% of my troubleshooting out. IT looks like the MX realtime.txt is in the same format as the one used in Cumulus1 so I should be getting close. Thanks for the help my friend.

Re: Using MX to update older website
Thats the area I was experimenting with for sure. Is the process of updating web tags taking place locally or is that happening once the files are renewed out on the hosting site?

Using MX to update older website
I just moved my Davis set up from Cumulus1 to MX and have everything running smoothly on a Raspberry 3. I have the "stock" MX website published to the internet and updating as expected. When running Cumulus1, I built a custom web site designed to be viewed from a smart phone. I started wit...

Re: Forecast discussion unavailable, please try later
Thanks for the fast reply Ken!, I made that change but no joy so far. May I ask where you were able to see the following information? <!-- forecast-discussion.php V1.04 31-Jul-2012 --> <!-- loading ./forecast-discussion.txt from http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php ... glossary=0 --> <!-- Network...
