First Snow of the Season

We had our first snowfall of the season - accompanied by lightning, first time I've experienced this, brightened up a dull day at work!

Duracell Ultra CR123A batteries to clear in our local Sainsbury superstores at £1.00 each.

I got two, even though my VP2 is only been in a month, I have till 2021 to use them. :D

Migrating from WMR200 to VP2 - Daft Question YTD Rainfall

Hi all, I've just bought a Davis VP2 to replace an Oregon WMR200 and am hoping to get it installed this weekend. I have paired the console to the Weatherlink software using the serial connection rather than USB, so fingers crossed Cumulus should be ok. Before I start to connect the station to Cumulu...

Re: Stevenson Screen Help

Hi logjam Thanks for the information. I'll ventilate the floor. I cut an outer roof over the weekend that was 1/2" larger all round and noticed when fitting it that the sun could shine in between the inner and outer roofs. The back of the outer roof is mounted 1" higher than the inner roof...

I'll try to remeber to clear the data logger after Cumulus has downloaded the logs, see if that helps. Ive had Cum...

Bug Report

Hi All (well Steve I suppose!) Cumulus created a bug report this morning. I am no programmer but it would appear to be a clock error from the WMR-200. I extended my aerial and I think that the weather station for the first time in years has synced itself with Anthorn. I'll turn that feature off on t...

Re: BT's UGLY Fine Offset Rain Gauge Mod

If you were bothered about making it prettier. How about using a plastic lid fromsomething, a piece of wood or upvc. Slightly larger all round, a hole in the middle for the pipe, sit it on top, turn it all over, hot glue or other adhesive all around the underside to attach it to the rain gauge, turn...
