Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Hi Trevor Yes I added the /weather/ after my original file that did not have that path did not work. Now reverted to the original version, which still doesnt work. I have also planted a test file (test.php) in the root and in my weather directory The script reads <?php echo "PHP is running!&quo...

HI
Thanks for the reply..
Yes that was my thought, but I have already checked my account, and the screen you have suggested confirms the PHP version running (apparently) for my domain.
Confused? - I am

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Moving site issue I have moved my site to IONOS, and after a couple of simple issues it is now running - EXCEPT for the dayfile reader page. It loads from the URL http://www.geoffwebber.co.uk/weather/betel_datasummary.php - but no data / content is displayed. In order to avoid criticism - I have Re ...

Re: Ionos hosting - move from current host
Thank you for your assistance. Just to put a couple of things straight. 1. The Ionos site is not currently live, consequently MX is not pushing data there. This is borne out by the fact that the site attached to my domain is working as expected. Therefore MXDiags would have proved nothing 2. I had n...

Ionos hosting - move from current host
I have signed up for a webspace hosting package with Ionos. They have given me a 'system' domain so that I can test my website data. After a lot of faffing around with their tech support guys, I have finally arrived at the stage where I can browse to the directory that contains my weather site files...

Re: A conundrum
Thanks to both of you..
.json file has been edited and now that all is good there.
Odd about the settings as some options were visible and others not.
I changed browser to Bing and all were visible - so thank you both for prompt replies.
Happy Bunny!

A conundrum
Apart from my own weather station I also manage another persons weather station, via remote access. To all intents and purposes the installations are the same - except he uses a WLL device and I have a VP2. We both run CMX on dedicated laptops. In order to fix an issue that occurred on his system a ...

Re: Sudden increase in rainfall after midnight
Did you edit the annual rainfall on your station? No. CMX cannot download five days of your historic data from weatherlink.com because it is an out-of-date version. Oh... I didn't know that! There was a situation a few days before that where there was some sort of power failure - he lives in the st...

Sudden increase in rainfall after midnight
Running build Cumulus MX v.3.6.8 build 3084 I dont update the version unless there is a need, for bug fixes or new features. Interesting... I was going to start a new post, but I think this is linked - "Roll over issues"? As I have mentioned before I manage a site / installation for a frie...

I have also deleted the errant realtime files - and all seems to be OK still.
I'll keep an eye on it!
Cheers

Re: New PHP Upload Process
Just continually reading the realtimegauges.txt file I see the UTC time in it incrementing every few seconds, then it goes back to that old stale version for an update. Do you have an old/second copy of Cumulus running in the background somewhere that is uploading the sale file? Second copy running...

Re: New PHP Upload Process
I am at a loss to explain why you see this behaviour, unfortunately. It will be browser-specific, though, as JavaScript is executed in your browser, not on the server. Following on from the browser comment, I swapped from Chrome (via Duck Duck GO add in) to Firefox. I get the same result. If I had ...
