Re: No doubt covered before but Fine Offset pressure is a PA
I'm sorry if you found my original posting rude, it was not meant to be. It was written late in the evening after a colleague and I had spent 4 hours trying to get the uploaded data to agree with the display on the screen (which was, is and has always been accurate). We have now spent the batter par...

No doubt covered before but Fine Offset pressure is a PAIN
I am a reasonably articulate and intelligent computer and technology user. I have been using the Cumulus software for a couple of weeks and had a sum in my PayPal account that I was going to transfer to the author... but.... My Fine Offset receiver crashed and I had to remove the batteries and start...

Re: Pressure upload innaccurate
Now reinstalled everything (again) and the pressure's back to normal. (I Had of course reset the box first) p.s When the de-installation software says the programme is "completely removed" it is lying! I had to manually remove the main folder and lots of folders within before installing ag...

Re: Pressure upload innaccurate
I'm sorry but I think I have found a serious bug in the software, it's a bit hard to explain but I will try... I have been uploading to the Met Office WOW site. This shows both the local pressure and the adjusted sea level pressure. Since last evening I was uploading the correct local air pressure d...

Re: Pressure upload innaccurate
OK Done that, thanks Steve although I now agree with "everybody else" seems a lot of adjustment needed. Hope my sensor is not faulty. Thanks, Rob.

Pressure upload innaccurate
I'm new to this so please (at least for my first proper question) be kind! I am uploading to Weather Underground, also trying to upload to the Met Office site. On Weather Underground the readings of stations near me show at present a reading of about 1021 hPa, mine is hovering around 1015. What am I...

Adding sunlight detection to Maplin N96GY
I have just started out with a weather station and would like to be able to add some sort of daylight detection etc. I wondered if there might be a way to add this to the Maplin system? I am technically competent and did wonder if there might be any sort of hardware already provided for on the trans...
