Is there a dashboard in MX to use to configure the INI file for a new install?
OR
What is the recommended way to do this besides researching 1140 entries?

CMX Interface modifications
I have modified a few things in the interface html files. Since I only have a Vue with no UV or solar rad function, I removed those gauges from my interface. The problem I am having is sometimes when I open CMX the original interface is presented, other times my modded interface is shown. Other modd...

How do they do that - cloud base
I have a Davis Vue. There is a gauge that displays the cloud base. It seems to be working. I assume the footage is local, IE, I am at 450 ft ASL and it says 400 ft so the clouds are 850ft ASL. BUT how is that done? It does not come from my Vue.

Re: CMX desktop question
Yes, I did modify the ini file but none of the mods said anything about LOOP 50. It appears to be working now. Last night I shut MX down and opened V 1.9.4. I closed v1.9.4 it this AM and opened MX and MX is working. I do have some of this in the diag file ========in middle of file 2019-04-14 08:46:...

Re: CMX desktop question
I have a lot of lines of this in the diag file 2019-04-13 20:00:41.750 !!! VP2 Not woken 2019-04-13 20:00:43.286 !!! No ack received in response to LOOP 50 don't know what it is trying to tell me. Re: CMX desktop question
thanks Paul So with this version I must leave the CMD window open and use my browser for a desktop. Will it ever get back to the UI of ver 1? I like that a lot better. It is showing my previous data but does not seem to be talking to the Vue. It shows no time for the last station update. There is no...

Please stop allways on top
I find it VERY aggravating when I boot my computer in the AM and have to wait a LOOONNNGGG time for the Downloading popup to go away since it has an AlwaysOnTop attribute.
Would u mind removing that "feature"?

Re: Cum loads but no console opens
thinking about it, I believe I did set the minimize to system tray.
It would seem like if I clk on the icon it should open it up.
That seems to be the way other programs work if they r in the systray.
at least they bring up a window. Why does Cum just grunt???????????

Re: Cum loads but no console opens
thx y'all
i deleted the process but that didn't help. next time I started it - the same thing
Sooo, I uninstalled it and deleted the folder and reinstalled
worked this time, but I had to recover the data folder.
something was keeping the console from opening - probably a setting in an INI file.

Re: HELP
just reread it and the first part should be
Then Cumulus calcs the avg using LONG term unless speed is ticked
then it uses SHORT term for the calc
the rest agrees.

Re: HELP
Got it I am sure...... both unticked Cumulus takes long term from console and displays it as avg unless Calc 10... is ticked Then Cumulus calcs the avg using short term unless speed is ticked then it uses long term for the calc With all due respect, I might suggest the following to be a more clear d...
