Re: error [object Object]

Ok an update I had setup the pi to start Cumulus automatically but even if I remove the start file completely Cumulus starts up anyway. When I edit the file with sudo ctontab and completely remove that script it still boots to MX. Could there be two copies and the wrong one is being edited. I am a a...

Re: error [object Object]

Thanks for the suggestions, I have tried both using the MX dashboard way and closing MX down and editing the ini file that way, neither seem to work but I will try again tomorrow and also post the mxdiag file. I can see nothing obvious in the file but may have missed something.

thanks both

error [object Object]

Hi, I am getting the message "error [object Object]" after changing a parameter on CumulusMX v 3050. I am using a raspberry pi3. If I manually edit the ini file and save it appears to accept the changes but nothing changes when MX is rebooted and if I go back to the ini file the change did not actua...

Re: Weather Blues gauges not working

Thanks for the replies,I will give that one a miss, it’s a shame as it worked well on the original version. I will look at other templates and see if I can find one I like.

Weather Blues gauges not working

Hi, I am trying to setup Weather Blues 2.2, it is partly working but I cannot get the gauges working, no movement on the four outer gauges. The two real-time work on my lap top but not on the iPad,I am hoping some thing is in the wrong location and is simple to sort out. Raspberry pi and CumulusMX v...

Re: weatherlink ip data logger

I think that I have sorted the problem out, MX does upload to a web page but it appears that it cannot be seen when trying to vie on the dashboard, that may be due to the fact that there is already another installation already working and up loading at the moment so I will try closing the firs versi...

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3

The steel gauges showing now are the ones supplied as default with CumulusMX, I just want to update the version and to change the appearance at the same time. I am not convinced that I have got the extra web files set up to indicate the location in the raspberry pi directory. I have also set up the ...

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3

No I never have had a previous version of 2.2 working, I suspect that I have missed something vital out.
I will reinstall it tomorrow hand see what happens then.

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3

Thanks for the reply Freddy, I think I have unless I am missing the obvious, I will leave it today and have another go tomorrow. Before we moved house a couple of years ago I had the earlier version working fine with early Cumulus, so I hope I have missed something out. I have followed the ReadMe.tx...

Using a raspberry Pi 3 running CumulusMX v3046, I have followed the instructions in the readme file, am I right in thinking that the realtimegaugesT.txt is the one already enabled on the ftp settings ? Re: Moon Phases

Thanks for the reply. The line that the instructions say I need to change is not in the index file unless I have not seen it. Whereabouts would I insert the modified line?

Re: Moon Phases

is there a set of instruction for the original install as there is not the lines which nee to be modified in my indexT.htm file, I assume they were added in the previous instructions for the original instalation..using the latest version of CumulusMX.

Thanks Pete
