Maybe the reason why the precompiled CumulusMX package fails on older RPis?

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi

Thank you for this extremely useful set of instructions! I sincerely hope you will keep them updated! I decided to update my CumulusMX and gave the pre-built version a try. No luck: cumulusmx start failed. Probably due to my old Pi-model. So I went back to this thread that has worked for me before. ...

Re: Configure Cumulusmx local webserver

If all you need is what you can see and do via the CumulusMX Dashboard you can do this: - in your router, set up port forwarding of all 8998 traffic to your Pi - in CumulusMX Settings, send all extra files to the /interface folder No need for Apache or anything. This works for me: Only snag: you nee...

Re: Raspberry Pi image on old Pi?

I have used the instructions in viewtopic.php?f=40&t=17895 successfully on an old Pi.
Note the comment about a special "trick" relative to the Mono installation....
Good luck!

Re: Highcharts issue

I am running Cumulus MX 3.12.0 b3141 on a Raspberry Pi Model B rev.2. And am experiencing 2 minor problems with "Recent Charts" on local dashboard in recent versions of MX: 1. the graphs used to load rather quickly, but now they take a looooong time to load (except daily temp & daily r...

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying

Thank you - temperature graphs show after disabling as advised.

Another question: my humidity graph looks a bit weird: first part from Sep 2008 until some time in 2010 is empty. Can anyone explain?

Edit: found the answer: dayfile.txt did not contain the info before Oct. 2010.

Re: Historic charts (web) not displaying

I can see pressure, wind, rain, humidity historic charts - but not the temperature charts on my CumulusMX console.
All I get is a "Loading" image. I wonder why?
My setup is a RaspberryPi running most recent software, entirely local: no FTP, no website.

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget

See previous post from Steve: If it still shows as a zip file, then it probably still is a zip file, and you probably have file extensions hidden (so the file is now called cumulusih.gadget.zip). If you turn on display of known file extensions, renaming files will be much easier. See http://windows....

Re: Importing easyweather history

Hi all, This is my first post here as I have just changed from Easyweather Plus to Cumulus. Naturally, I have about 18 months worth of data I would like to convert to the Cumulus format. This must keep you busy dane  Would it be possible to have the conversion method, please? So far, Cumulus...

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget

I know they stopped gadgets in 8 but there are 3rd party products available to enable them. I have it running in Windows 10. However (and not having done any research), has this been converted to an app tile or is there a similar app tile that uses my weather station data that I could use? Haven't ...
